  1. Excellent piece Ian. I have tried to get into contact with Morten to see if he is able to comment/shed some light on the matter.

    What supporters?

Well.. a little small positive thing is that it seems, out of all this mess, the club have smartely payed a lot of debt.

    I am not from England..
so I do not know a lot about the Croydon Borough area of London.

But to me it seems obvious to merged for example Croydon Athletic FC and Croydon FC (perhaps more local clubs), and form and build a sustainable club together.
Perhaps, they then have a chance to get some help from the Council for funding new facilities.
    A little like Dartford did.
(perhaps a little bit kind of cheaper construction will be needed. (-;)

Crystal Palace is in some’s eyes perhaps not even from the borough.. so if the vast population of the Croydon part of London could unite around one team and club, that would be great I guess.

This is one of the reasons why I don’t get the rich people who buy big english football clubs.. the majority waste a lot of money, and don’t make a positive difference.
By helping deprieved areas with the sport, the money would make much more difference.

    Especially Dudley needs that.
I would do it, if I was in a position to do it, rather than buying a big club.
You can do things better from scratch.
    Likke Hoffenheim for example.

If Croydon could get a real fan owned team in terms of ownership, that would be great to.

    Oh, one last thing..
Can it in theory be done, let us say Spurs, that the clubs legal codes, can be decided to that an individual, company or organisation can only own like fx 1 % of the stocks/shares?
That would solve a lot of problems in terms of respectless owners I think.
    Just think of the Glazers.

Even better would be the style of ownership like Real Madrid or FC Barcelona, with their ‘socios’.

    Thank you for your time.
I hope my english was readable enough. ;o)
